About SETDGA
Southeast Texas Deaf Golf Association (SETDGA) was founded in March 2007 by Billy Koch and Rodney Fetter. Two deaf golfing enthusiastics who were interested in finding other golfers who were also deaf or hard of hearing and shared the same common passion as Billy and Rodney. So from this date, they decided they would send out a blast and see how many deaf golfers they could find in the Houston area. At our first meeting in March, six golfers showed up - up to this current date of April 6, 2008 we have as much as 38 golfers on our mailing list and growing each month.
SETDGA primary purpose is to provide a social interaction of golfing events on a monthly basis for new or experienced golfers alike. We are here to introduce you or just for plain ole fun. SETDGA does host a Scramble tournament once a year in April and Individual Tournament in September. SETDGA's monthly social golfing event is always on the 3rd Saturday of every month from February to October.
SETDGA is and will continue to grow and look to expand and improve their organization - as time comes by. So be on the look out!
