07/29/2008--After working with Southwyck's personnel today, we learned that we can have 32 players (16 teams) maximum. Please register fast.

07/30/2008--After calculating cash prizes based on 32 players (if all 32 registered/played), the estimated cash prizes are awarded to teams placed: (The dollar amounts have been removed due to no need to mention)

SETDGA Scramble Rules

This is a tentative rules -

SETDGA's First Annual Scramble's Best Ball Rules:

1. Each group will select a Team captain prior to teeing off.
2. Play begins with each member of the group teeing off.
3. With the agreement of the other members of the group, the team
captain decides which drive is the most desirable.
4. The other members pick up their balls and proceed to the spot of the
selected drive (Place balls within 12 inches (no closer to the hole) of the
original ball), where they will hit their second shots.

SETDGA 1st Annual Scramble

SETDGA is proud to announce that we will be hosting our 1st Annual 4 man Scramble on April 26, 2008. The tournament will be held at Longwood Golf Course in Cypress, Texas.

The shotgun will be at 1:30 p.m. on the 26th, with rules and etc being announced at 1 p.m.
The entry fee is $300.00 per team - so download the form shown at the link showed above.
Deadline is April 15th!

About SETDGA

Southeast Texas Deaf Golf Association (SETDGA) was founded in March 2007 by Billy Koch and Rodney Fetter. Two deaf golfing enthusiastics who were interested in finding other golfers who were also deaf or hard of hearing and shared the same common passion as Billy and Rodney. So from this date, they decided they would send out a blast and see how many deaf golfers they could find in the Houston area. At our first meeting in March, six golfers showed up - up to this current date of April 6, 2008 we have as much as 38 golfers on our mailing list and growing each month.
